Thematic Volume Inquiries

Individual volumes may address specific engineering themes. Prospective contributors are encouraged to ensure that their chapter is directly relevant to the technical focus and objectives of the intended volume.

Thematic Relevance: Inclusion in a thematic volume depends on both scholarly quality and direct relevance to the volume's engineering theme.

Volume Editors and Guest Editors

Questions concerning thematic volume coordination, editorial responsibilities, reviewer selection, chapter organization, volume coherence, and production schedules may be directed to the Editorial Office.

Volume Editors and Guest Editors are expected to maintain editorial independence, scholarly quality, confidentiality, reviewer competence, and consistency with the policies of Collaborate Engineering Daily Book Series.

Engineering Data and Technical Integrity

Questions concerning engineering calculations, experimental data, numerical models, field measurements, industrial records, technical drawings, simulations, validation procedures, uncertainty, or other technical research materials may be directed to the Editorial Office.

Engineering Data Responsibility: Authors are responsible for ensuring that engineering data, calculations, experimental results, simulations, and technical claims are accurately reported, appropriately validated, and supported by sufficient evidence.

Copyright and Permissions

Authors are responsible for obtaining permission to reproduce previously published figures, tables, photographs, maps, engineering drawings, diagrams, or other copyrighted materials included in their chapters.

Proprietary engineering information, confidential industrial records, restricted datasets, and commercially sensitive materials should only be included when appropriate authorization has been obtained.

Artificial Intelligence and Digital Tools

Artificial intelligence systems and generative AI tools cannot be listed as authors or editors. Substantive AI use in writing, engineering analysis, coding, simulation, optimization, prediction, image processing, or literature synthesis should be disclosed where relevant.

Human Engineering Accountability: Authors remain fully responsible for verifying AI-assisted calculations, references, technical interpretations, design outputs, and conclusions before submission and publication.

Accepted Chapters and Final Proof

Following editorial acceptance, chapters may undergo copyediting, technical checking, reference verification, metadata preparation, typesetting, and final proof preparation before publication within the relevant volume.

Corresponding authors should carefully review names, affiliations, equations, figures, tables, references, captions, and metadata during the proof stage.

Official Communication

Authors should use the official communication channels of the book series for correspondence concerning submissions, review, revision, production, publication, appeals, corrections, or editorial matters.

Editorial Independence: Editorial and peer-review decisions are made independently of commercial, financial, institutional, industrial, professional, or personal interests.
